Junior React Native Developer

React Native / Expo / TypeScript

Role Overview

You'll join our React Native team and work under a Senior React Native Developer to build and ship features for our iOS and Android apps. You'll also work with the Backend team on API integrations. This is a good role for someone who wants to grow quickly in mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Build mobile app features and UI components in React Native (Expo).
• Integrate backend APIs into the mobile app with guidance from the senior developer and the Backend team.
• Fix bugs, write tests and improve app performance and stability.
• Help with builds and releases to the App Store and Play Store.
• Take part in code reviews, standups and sprint planning.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience with React Native (internships and solid personal projects count).
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON and how frontends talk to backends.
• Eagerness to learn and openness to feedback.
• Clear communication. You should be comfortable asking questions and working with backend and design teammates.
• Experience working with AI tools for development such as Claude and Cursor.

Note: You don't need to be full stack. A basic understanding of backend concepts and the willingness to work with the Backend team is enough.

Nice to Have

• A published app or personal project on the App Store or Play Store.
• Exposure to Expo, Git workflows and mobile debugging tools.
